Adding sound puts in the dimension of another realistic distraction which can help you develop a more consistent reaction time. Customizing to your race car's sound is possible! Operation can be accomplished with either the keyboard, mouse, or external switches for getting closer to reality (utilizing V1P's USB interface). Various features are selectable, such as "triple zero format", Pro or Full mode, 0.400 or 0.500, roll-out, delay, vehicle type, dial-in, and single or two driver competitive modes, etc.. Reaction time average, minimum, maximum, number of red-lights, number of green lights, number of wins and number of races are all tracked. Preferred settings can be saved so you can quick start using your typical racing configuration. Use of vTreePro is an excellent tool for helping improve your reaction time and determining your vehicle roll-out time. Timing resolution of 0.001 seconds. vTreePro's sound runs in the background at a lower priority so not to interfere with the timing accuracy. We have found that we cannot tell the difference in reaction times acquired in vTreePro when comparing them to those obtained with precision hardware tools, or other competitor's practice tree software.
